Thermography Inspector

What is Thermography?

Thermography is an area of building performance assessment where thermal imaging is used to identify areas of heat loss.  Thermal imaging energy performance tests display visual evidence to identify areas of concern and further investigation.

Identify areas of high Air leakage

Thermography will quickly and accurately identify areas of high air leakage. This is useful to carry out alongside air tightness testing, especially in the context of retrofit work. The most popular reason people choose to carry out a thermography assessment is to check the quality of a property’s construction, if the occupier has raised concerns relating to a cold/draughty property.

Demonstrate thermal performance

Thermography is also useful for demonstrating the thermal performance of insulation.
